This is a fun abstract animal mixed media class using watercolor paper, watercolors, colored pencils, black and white pens. This is a GREAT way to loosen up and have a ton of fun creating your own work of art. There will be other sample photos available in class for inspiration. About the Artist: Susan Balbin grew up in Houston and graduated from University of Houston Clear Lake majoring in Literature education with a minor in Art. She earned her Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Texas A & M Corpus Christi. She has been working 29 years as an educator with 16 of those as an Art teacher. Susan has lived in Corpus Christi since 1991 and loves to go to the beach, to exercise, and to travel. She enjoys trying new creative endeavors as well as painting, drawing, and mixed media. When she is not creating, she enjoys hanging out with her family or going on outdoor adventures with them. Being outside is a major inspiration to her art.
