🗓️ Online submissions must be completed by Monday, June 9 at 11:59 PM.

THE CONCEPT

Submit up to two 5"x7"original artworks—signed on BACK ONLY, 2D artworks (5"x7" excluding frame if applicable). All pieces must be ready to hang.

Each piece will be displayed anonymously and sold for $100.

Artist identities will be revealed ONLY after the work is sold.

​

Style/Theme: Anything goes—as long as it’s kid-friendly! Bold, playful, experimental—have fun and keep them guessing. This is the perfect chance to try something unexpected, push your boundaries, and create outside the box.

INTERACTIVE ELEMENT

Show Opens: Wednesday, June 18th during Wine Down Wednesday (Doors open at 5:30 PM)

Gallery visitors may submit one guess for who created their favorite piece.

Correct guesses are entered into a drawing to win a remaining piece of art—gallery covers the cost, and artist still gets paid.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

Professional artists within 100 miles of Padre Island Art Gallery.

Work must be original, not previously shown, and no prints allowed.

​

Mediums Accepted

All 2D wall-hung artwork, including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, fiber art, and more.

Unframed canvases must have finished, painted edges and be at least 1.5” deep.

All paper-based works must be framed and ready to hang.

COST TO ENTER

Gallery Members (in good standing): FREE

Non-Members: $10 submission fee (covers up to 2 entries; non-refundable)

Please note: While we wish we could include everyone, submission does not guarantee acceptance. Final selections will depend on space, presentation standards, and curatorial considerations.

​

All submission fees are non-refundable and will benefit children at Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Thank you for helping us support this beautiful cause.

​

GIVING BACK

A portion of each sale will be donated from the gallery proceeds to Kaylee's Light Toy Drive, supporting Driscoll Children's Hospital in memory of Kaylee, a beloved Island teen.

Mail-in entries will not be accepted. All work must be delivered in person.
