Joseph Raymond IIÂ
A Southern California native of 30 years, I now reside with my family in The Four States area of Texarkana. Since 2013, I have had the privilege of participating in numerous invitation-only solo art shows each year, alongside various other events and exhibits. These opportunities have allowed me to sell a substantial amount of artwork, beautifying homes, establishments, and firms across the United States and internationally.
Over half of my annual sales are bespoke pieces. I present a comprehensive portfolio of works crafted for the refined tastes of the most discerning clients.Â
My specialization lies in creating large, custom-sized abstract artworks on gallery-wrapped canvases, characterized by deep textures, dynamic movement, and vibrant, saturated colors.
I utilize a diverse range of materials including Venetian plaster, emulsions, minerals, oxides, beeswax, verdigris, and rust, alongside traditional mediums such as glazes, acrylics, charcoal, chalk, and various mixed media. In addition to brushes and knives, I employ unconventional tools to achieve the desired artistic effects.
The experiment and learning is a never-ending joy! From the bold, dramatic contemporary statement pieces to subtle and calming modern landscapes, my desire is that my art will capture and evoke a beautiful feeling, place, time or memory that will enhance your every day each time you view it!
Thank you for indulging me!
